Virgin Atlantic is accelerating the rollout of Starlink Wi-Fi, bringing fast, free onboard connectivity to its fleet from 2026 and transforming the in-flight experience for passengers.

British Airways has announced a landmark partnership with Starlink that will deliver free, high-speed, gate-to-gate Wi-Fi for every customer in every cabin.

The rollout will enable passengers to work, collaborate and stay connected throughout their journey, forming a key part of the airline’s £7bn transformation programme.

Virgin Atlantic is set to transform business travel by becoming the first UK airline to offer free, streaming-quality, unlimited Wi-Fi across its entire fleet using Starlink technology by 2027, alongside a major cabin refurbishment of its Boeing 787-9 fleet starting in 2028 and the introduction of ten A330neo aircraft with expanded premium cabins from Q3 2026.

United Airlines has announced an accelerated timeline to equip its fleet with Starlink’s industry-leading inflight connectivity, promising faster and more reliable internet for business travellers by the end of 2025.
