Wizz Air launches WIZZ Class as a new option for short-haul business travel

Wizz Air has announced that it will pilot a new premium seating product called WIZZ Class on selected routes from December 2025, offering passengers more space, priority boarding and additional onboard benefits in a bid to attract business travellers seeking greater comfort without full business-class fares.

This development will be of particular interest to UK-based business travellers and those responsible for business travel planning because it reflects a broader shift in how low-cost carriers are meeting the demands of corporate flyers for enhanced comfort, efficiency and convenience on short-haul services, all of which can contribute to a more productive travel experience.

WIZZ Class is a premium add-on available exclusively at the time of booking and is designed to make flights more comfortable and convenient without a dramatic price premium. It secures either an aisle or window seat with extra legroom in the first row and the middle seat blocked, giving travellers additional personal space and privacy. Passengers who choose WIZZ Class will also benefit from priority boarding together with the ability to bring a 10 kg trolley onboard, and are offered a complimentary snack and a non-alcoholic drink served during the flight, rather than having to buy these onboard separately.

The trial will initially run on select Wizz Air services departing from five key European hubs, including London, Bucharest, Warsaw, Rome and Budapest, with the product focused on front-row seats where extra legroom is already available. While not a traditional business class offering with lounge access or included meals, the combination of extra space, faster boarding and a smoother overall experience reflects growing demand among business travellers for comfort and efficiency on short flights without the cost of legacy carrier business class fares.

Paul Baker, Sales Director at Global Travel Management, said

For UK business travellers who regularly fly across Europe, WIZZ Class represents a new option that blends affordability with some enhancements in comfort and convenience, enabling more productive journeys where every minute counts.
