Lufthansa opens First Class Lounge in Munich

The Lufthansa First Class Lounge in Terminal 2 at Munich Airport has reopened, offering First Class passengers an upgraded and luxurious experience in a stylish, modern setting.

This development will be of particular interest to UK-based business travellers flying through Munich, especially those connecting via Lufthansa’s global network. With access to an enhanced lounge experience before departure, business travellers can maximise productivity, comfort and privacy while awaiting flights.

Spanning approximately 1,000 square metres, the revamped lounge boasts a newly designed gastronomic zone featuring an “à la carte” restaurant, a front cooking buffet, and a sophisticated bar - all crafted to deliver exceptional exclusivity. Additional amenities include secluded quiet zones, elegant washrooms, high-spec business facilities with printers and copiers, as well as entertainment areas equipped with TVs and a rich selection of international press.

Open daily from 05:00 to 22:00, the upgraded lounge forms a key part of Lufthansa’s broader premium strategy. This includes a refurbished First Class check-in area at Munich Airport and the deployment of Lufthansa’s new Allegris First Class offering aboard A350-900 aircraft. This summer, these aircraft will operate routes from Munich to Chicago, San Francisco, San Diego, Shanghai and Bengaluru, introducing pioneering features such as two individual suites and the exceptional Suite Plus.

Paul Baker, Sales Director of Global Travel Management, said: “The reopening of Lufthansa’s First Class Lounge in Munich provides an exceptional opportunity for business travellers to enjoy a seamless and premium experience. Whether preparing for a long-haul journey or making use of high-quality workspaces, our clients will truly benefit from the comfort and convenience offered.”
