Hilton Honors launches Diamond Reserve tier with new benefits for business travel

The global hospitality group Hilton Honors is enhancing its loyalty programme with a faster path to elite status and the introduction of a new premium tier, Diamond Reserve.

This is great news to many UK-based business travellers because it means earning elite status – and gaining access to superior perks – becomes significantly more achievable, which can enhance travel comfort and efficiency when managing business travel.

From 1 January 2026, Hilton will reduce the qualification thresholds for its existing tiers: Gold status will be attainable after just 25 nights (down from 40) and Diamond status after 50 nights (down from 60).

Simultaneously, Hilton is adding a new top tier, Diamond Reserve, which is targeted at its most loyal guests. Members earn this status by staying 80 nights and spending US$18,000 annual eligible spend, and will enjoy elevated benefits including:

  • Confirmable Upgrade Reward – allowing a premium room or up to one-bedroom suite upgrade at time of booking for stays up to seven nights.

  • guaranteed late checkout at 4 p.m. for eligible stays.

  • exclusive 24/7 dedicated customer service, and access to Premium Clubs (quiet workspaces, upgraded F&B, etc).

  • 120 % earning bonus on every stay.

For business travellers booking stays with Hilton brands that support the Hiltons‐Honors programme, this means enhanced flexibility and recognition - especially important for frequent travellers who value upgrade certainty, late checkout to accommodate irregular schedules and access to exclusive lounges for productive work.
