Eurostar has reached a major milestone, carrying 400 million passengers since 1994 after a record year that saw 20 million customers travel across its European network.

The continued growth, investment and expanded services reinforce rail’s increasing importance for UK-based business travel between the UK and key European cities.

Eurostar has announced plans to operate new direct rail services from London to Frankfurt and Geneva from the early 2030s, supported by a €2 billion investment in a fleet of up to 50 new trains.
