Emirates Introduces Exclusive Dom Pérignon Rosé 2009 for First Class Business Travellers

Emirates is now serving the rare Dom Pérignon Rosé Vintage 2009 Champagne to First Class customers on all flights departing Dubai, with the celebrated vintage available for a limited period through the airline’s exclusive partnership with Moët Hennessy.

For UK-based business travellers, this is a notable enhancement to Emirates’ already premium First Class service. Many business travellers from the UK fly long-haul routes via Dubai, and Emirates’ reputation for luxury and attention to detail is reinforced by this unique wine programme. For those who value exceptional inflight experiences that help them arrive refreshed and well-prepared for meetings, the introduction of such a rare vintage elevates the standard of comfort and exclusivity available on board.

Emirates serves Dom Pérignon Vintage Champagne in First Class across its global network and frequently introduces special vintages, giving customers the chance to enjoy some of the world’s rarest and most prestigious wines. In fact, Emirates purchases more champagne than any other airline globally and holds exclusive rights to serve a remarkable selection, including Dom Pérignon Vintage 2015, Dom Pérignon Plénitude 2 2006, Veuve Clicquot Vintage Blanc 2015, and others. Premium Economy customers also benefit, with Emirates uniquely serving Chandon Vintage Brut 2019 as a global exclusive.

For over 16 years, Emirates has invested more than $1 billion in its wine programme, acquiring vintages early and maturing them until they are ready to be served on board. Its French wine cellar holds 6.5 million bottles, with some vintages not expected to be poured until 2035. The airline’s cellar also boasts an impressive vintage collection, including Château Margaux 2004, Château Cos d’Estournel 2005 and Château Montrose 2005. Wines are carefully matured – with Business Class Bordeaux typically aged 8–10 years and First Class wines 12–15 years before service.

Dom Pérignon Rosé 2009 itself is the product of a particularly generous harvest, resulting in a wine that combines ripeness with elegance and layered complexity. After 12 years of maturation, it offers aromas of rose petals, orange oil and saffron, leading into notes of raspberry, cherry, cassis and fig, with deeper hints of liquorice and gingerbread. Its palate is smooth, structured and memorable – embodying the bold intensity for which Dom Pérignon Rosé vintages are celebrated.
